Your files are never sent to a server

FacilDocs tools run inside your browser. The images and documents you convert are processed on your own device and are not uploaded, stored or shared. FacilDocs has no access to them.

Technical browsing data

As with any website, when you visit, your browser connects to third-party services that receive your IP address and technical details of the request (browser, operating system, page requested):

  • Cloudflare, the site's hosting provider, which may log these requests for security and operation.
  • Google Fonts (Google), which serves the site's typeface.
  • cdnjs (Cloudflare), which serves the animation library and, when you merge PDFs, the library that combines them.
  • jsDelivr, only when you open a HEIC photo, to load the reader for that format.
  • Google AdSense, which serves the ads (explained below).

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards set out in the GDPR.

Visit statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to find out how many people visit the site, which pages they use and which country they come from. It doesn't set cookies, store your IP address or identify you: it only collects aggregated, anonymous visit data (page, browser, approximate country and load time). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the site.

If you email us

If you send us an email, we use your address and what you tell us only to reply. We keep it for as long as needed to handle your request and then for any period required by law.

Advertising

FacilDocs is free because it shows ads from Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited). To show them, Google and its partners may use cookies and identifiers to choose ads, limit how often you see the same ad and measure how ads perform.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before using advertising cookies. You can accept, reject or choose specific purposes, and change your choice at any time from the privacy preferences link. If you don't consent, Google may show non-personalized ads.

More about how Google uses data on sites that show its ads: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can manage Google's personalized ads at myadcenter.google.com.

The legal basis is your consent. Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards set out in the GDPR.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and portability of your data by writing to nexcodexone@gmail.com. If you think we haven't handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local authority.
